NEBOYSHA AND CO.
Legend of Neboysha started more than ten years ago in two twisted young
minds.
He became a comic hero and the world was never the same again. His total lack of virtues
(except for pacifism) and high spirit won hearts of all readers. Neboysha is fully
freeware,
it's comic book was freely distributed, and every book had only one copy of it. It was
never
meant to be anything more than fun for free, so Web is the natural choice for it. For
technical
reasons I can't scan all of the material and put it on my pages, but I can show some
samples.
My friend and I started it in 1988., but circumstances caused a long pause in drawing.

in Neboysha is almost impossible to translate because of it's colloquialisms, typical only
for
our native country. Story was usually related on some of our favorite movies, or very
short
and simple. Highlight was always on characters and their interaction, they made this comic
book fun. We tried to make fun of things that surrounded us, no matter how bitter they
actually were.
Some characters are based on other more or less recognizable characters
from
movies or comic books, but they all developed in their own directions. For example
Slawenka was based on Kurgan, the character from movie Highlander, but she soon
developed personality of her own. Now she is the most rational and also the strongest
character of them all. Neboysha is more anti-hero than hero he should be, but that is
reality.
He likes simple situations and enjoys in small pleasures of life. Kate, Jenny, Black Foot
and
Olaf are only 'normal' characters but only on the outside. On the inside they are far more
crazy than Neboysha, Slawenka, Haiah or Mylogled could ever be. And villains make a
great couple. Hunc and Eiusdem show more love and affection than any other character
(except for Hai-Auah-A maybe).
I'm very happy that I got the opportunity to put them all on Web,
because measure
of those characters existence is the number of people that ever heard of them. Thank you
